Title: “Early Diagnosis and Management of Bariatric Surgery Complications”

Presenters: Ehab Akkary MD, FACS, FASMBS

Target Audience: Intermediate 

Objectives:

  • Identify complications of lap band
  • Identify complications of sleeve gastrectomy
  • Identify complications of gastric bypass
  • Proper management/referral of patients with bariatric complications
  • Decrease morbidity of cosmetic surgery from undiagnosed bariatric complications.
